Our animal station is dedicated to the care and rehabilitation of animals in connection with our veterinary practice. We offer loving temporary accommodation and strive to ensure the well-being of our animal residents.

Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated and caring animal carer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the daily care and maintenance of our animals and will play a key role in their recovery and well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Feeding, cleaning, care and monitoring of animals
• Cleaning and maintenance of animal shelters, enclosures and general areas
• Assistance with medical treatments and administration of medication as directed
• Conducting behavioral observations and documenting health status
• Compliance with all relevant animal welfare rules and regulations

Qualifications:

• Experience working with animals, preferably in an animal shelter or similar facility
• Love and understanding for animals, with the ability to respond to their needs
• Independent, responsible and team-oriented working style
• Flexibility in working hours, including weekends and holidays
• Valid driving license is an advantage
• Fluent in German, other language skills are an advantage
